What’s involved in the assessment?

The purpose of the initial assessment is to identify underlying challenges that could be creating roadblocks to handwriting success. Combination of functional and standardized testing.

I tell the kids that I am a handwriting de tective and looking for clues to help solve the “mystery of the messy handwriting.” We do a lot of things together including fun activities with their hands, a little bit o f writing, movement activities, drawing and looking at pictures.
